Mrs. Winifred Seibu Arthur is the current headmistress of Methodist Girls’ High School, Mamfe (MEGHIS), leading the institution through a period of remarkable success in both academics and STEM. Under her leadership, MEGHIS has gained national and international recognition, particularly excelling in the fields of robotics and coding. The school won the World Robotics and Coding Competition twice, standing out as champions among 5,000 teams from across the globe. Mrs. Arthur’s vision for the school includes advancing STEM education and positioning MEGHIS as a leading institution for girls in Ghana. Her commitment to this vision is reflected in the school’s recent achievements, such as being selected to pilot Robotics and Engineering subjects under the government’s new curriculum. She has also been a key figure in the establishment of the MTN-sponsored modern STEM center at the school, furthering opportunities for students to thrive in science and technology fields.
Led by headmistress Mrs. Winifred Seibu Arthur, the management includes a team of experienced educators, administrators, and support staff who work collaboratively to uphold the school’s core values of discipline, excellence, and Christian integrity.
Under this team’s guidance, the school has achieved remarkable feats, including winning international robotics competitions and being selected to pilot new government STEM initiatives.
